Commodores album Movin' On is reissued on CD
The Commodores third album 'Movin' On' was released in 1975 on Motown Records. In the early seventies The Commodores where a real funk band. The played real hard funk with lots of Horns and Bass. Later they crossed over to pop, adult contemporary r&b with songs like 'Three Times A Lady' and 'Still'.
This album contains some real funk killers like 'Hold On', 'Free', '(Can I) Get A Witness', 'Gimme My Mule'. These tracks consists of great Horn Sections and great hooks. But they could record also great soul tunes, with lead vocalist Lionel Richie, like 'Sweet Love', 'Time' and the instrumental 'Cebu'.

Ex Pleasure member Randy Hall released this album 'I Belong To You' in the year 1984 on Capitol Records. This album is produced by Ray Parker Jr, one of the hottest producers at that time, and you can immediatly hear that. It has that typical Ray Parker Jr sound. This nine track album contains some great tunes like the well-known track 'I've Been Watching You (Jamie's Girl)', 'A Gentleman', 'Feel My Eyes'. Also some ballads exist on this CD. Lillo Thomas is his second album 'All Of You' is now reissued on CD by Vinyl-Masterpiece. His previous, debut, album is also reissued on CD by PTG. 'All Of You' is also a superb album with much classic tracks. Originally released on Capitol records in 1985. The classic tracks are 'Your Love’s Got A Hold On Me', 'Never Give Up', 'I Like Your Style' and 'Settle Down'. The latter was a big hit here in Europe. This is a great album for lovers of real soul music, or fans of Melba Moore, Freddie Jackson.
