What do I have to say more about the band T-Connection. It's one of the baddest funk bands since 1975. T-Connection are from Nassau Bahama's and is formed by T-Coakley (Theophilus). They had a few hits during the years. Some hits are 'Do what You Wanna Do', 'At Midnight', 'Groove City' and 'Take It To The Limit'. The latter is also the title track of this album that is reissued on CD by Vinyl Masterpiece.

Originally released in 1984 on Capitol records. This was the latest album T-Connection released in eight years since the started. It reached number 59 on the Billboard R&B album chart. The title track did it not better on the single chart, it reached only #73. But this album is well known among the boogie, funk lovers. Tracks from this album are regular scheduled for airplay and played on disco, funk party's.
I personally think that this album is one of the best they recorded. It contains great funk tracks like, 'Take It To The Limit', 'You Can Feel The Groove Tonight' and 'Anything Goes'. All three soulandfunkmusic.com favorite tracks. But not to mention about the other tracks. Check out 'Right Place, Wrong Time' full of funky bas, guitar and strings. The down-tempo track 'It's Another Life' sounds very refreshing. The synths and bass on 'Travellin' Man' are ok, but the percussion, beat isn't. The least best track on this CD. 'Burnin' With Desire' another killer track. The last track on this album is the ballad 'You Found Someone', not my kind of music ;-).
Great CD and good replacement for the vinyl album you have on the shelve, is probably already a few years grey.
