Peabo Bryson or how should we call him? Mister Ballad, Mister Slow or Mister nice Voice. Mister Bryson is Born on 13 april 1951 and is certainly one of world's most dynamic and gifted vocal talents. He recorded tens of albums for himself but he released several albums with female artists like Roberta Flack, Natalie Cole.

This superb album 'I Am Love' made his chart debut in the summer of 1981 and reached #6. It is originally released on Capitol Records where he recorded more albums for. Peabo wrote every song and produced it with co-producer Johnny Pate.

Dutch vinyl-masterpiece reissued this fantastic album on CD just a few weeks ago. Let me describe some tracks. The CD starts with the fantastic ballad 'I Am Love' which is also the title track. The next mid-temp track 'Move Your Body' a soul killer tune with great bass work. Not to mention about the next track 'Split Decision', what a tune. Great voice, hooks, over a funky slow beat. The same description is applicable for 'There's No Guarantee', #36 on Billboard. One of my favorite tracks is 'Love Is On The Rise' a mid-tempo funky track with beautiful melodies and music. Same for 'Get Ready To Cry'. Another charter is 'Let The Feeling Flow'. this single reached #6 on the R&B billboard chart.
