Confection Fantasisin In this era most old school artists make nowadays soul and r&b but you don't see that nowadays artists make old school soul. But the australian group Confection DOES and HOW.

When you hear the superb downtempo track 'Fantasisin' you will have the illusion that you live in the mid eighties. When you put the needle in the groove the SOS band, 808 drum sounds boost imediatley from your speakers followed by that funky bass and that make you shake your body baby. The vocals of Juanita match perfect this '80s' tune, that sounds like a Jimmy Jam/Terry Lewis production. Read Further

They have used the real drum, synthesizers from the eighties. It got a very nice melody with nice strings. A nicer compliment than this you can't have. And that's not all.

Because on the B-Side you find the album version of Fantasisin and BUT also a very good boogie tune 'I Choose You'. This tune definitely sounds like a 83 song from the master Kashif. Nice bass, melody, synths. In short two sublime '80s' tracks on this twelve that does fit between your eighties collection.
