Alfonzo - Alfonzo
Today, 27 years ago in 1983, the album Alfonzo by Alfonzo debuted on the billboard Top R&B Albums Chart. It reached #50 and was on the chart for a total of 8 weeks.

This self titled album of 1982 is Alfonzo his first and last. All the Horns on this album are played by Atlantic Starr. This album reached number 50 at the billboard Top R&B Album chart. Alfonzo's voice is almost like Michael Jackson. The album consist of mid/up tempo funky tracks. One of this good funky up tempo tracks is "Your Booty Makes Me Moody". The moderate track "Low Down" is a cover of Boz Scaggs hit. "Change the world" is a slow tempo nicely sung tune. The uptempo funky Track "Ready For Your Love" is in the style of track number 1. It has some fine synth solo's. One of the best tracks on this album is "Girl, you Are The One". Nice horns, synths. On this track the sound of Alfonzo voice is right. The same apply for "Don't Stop This Feeling" and "Action Speaks Louder Than Words".

I Would Just Like To Say That The Whole Album Is Very Melodic And Up Beat Tempos Alfonzo Sounds Better Than Michael Jackson. Alfonzo"S Musci Runs Along The Melodic Versions Of Darren O. Spurrier Another Up And Comming Artist/composer Who Writes Beautyful Harmonising Melodic Music And Has A Musical Sound Of His Own Thats A Mixture Of Alfonzo And Michael Jackson. I Think Darren And Alfonzo Should Colabarate Together They Would Be Unstopable For Decades To Come They Are Both Musical Pioneer"S The Galxy Is The Limit, But Just Remember The Galxy Is Endless. With Love From All Of Your Fans From All Over The World You Are Deeply Loved And Admired. Love And Peace And May God Bless You All You Both Are Angeles In A World Of Trouble And Strife , You Both Give Us Our Pleasures In Life. Love Always Your Universal Fans.

This dude is a direct replica of Michael Jackson. He sings every note and does all of MJ's signature vocal inflections and tones. You will truly think that you are listening to Michael. I'm willing to bet that either Michael had something to do with this album or that Michael and Alfonzo are related. They sound too much alike. This album is the best album I have heard in years. The album is a perfect blend between "Off the Wall" and "Thriller". This album is only second to "Thriller". You may even think that it is better than Thriller. The big question is what happen to Alfonzo. Maybe he isn't related to Michael Jackson and MJ camp told him to stop being a copycat. All I can say is this is a must have for R&B/funk fans.
