From Washington DC Chuck Brown, the founder of Go-Go Music, is no longer with us. Go Go is a music form that is based on heavy percussion work. He started his carreer with the group The Soul Searchers. Late in the seventies, in 1979, he scored a big hit with 'Bustin Loose'.

Sister Sledge Kicks Off 2014
Soul and Funk Music.com will air a special interview with Sister Sledge on January 1st, New Years Day at 22.00 CET on the webradiostream in a exclusive episode of Back to the Old School. Radio host Jeffrey Williams will meet Joni and Debra and he'll introduce us to a 'new sister' Tanya Tiet, who is singer during the 2013 Sister Sledge world tour. Tanya will collaborate with the new Sister Sledge album which is due for spring 2014. From now on she's a new sister in the family.
