Vinyl-Masterpiece reissued another classic killer album by T-Connection on CD. This reissue is 'Everything is Cool'. This 8 track album is the fifth album T-Connections recorded, the year was 1981, originally released on Capitol Records.
This fabulous album start with the funk overloaded track 'Groove City' her I come. A classic among the T-Connection fans. 'Spend The Night With Me' a great down tempo track with a funky bass line and nice vocal melodies. The third track downtempo 'Spinnin'' has lot of percussion work, not their strongest track. By the way, all the tracks are almost written by T. Coackley. The title track 'Everything Is Cool' contains Zapp influences like the talkbox and the specific Zapp guitar licks. One of the best tracks on this album. The same for the sixth track 'Give Me Your Love', nice fresh synth sounds. The two ballads on this album are 'Paradise' and 'Heaven in your Eyes'. The last track 'We've Got A Good Thing' is another funky, bass filled, horns blowing tune.
Other T-Connection albums also available on CD by PTG Records are “The Game of life” and “Take it to the limit”.
Again a great reissue, digitally remastered by Vinyl-Masterpiece from the Netherlands.
