Singer Jennifer Hirsch featured at the Bowery Poetry Club.

Jennifer Hirsch performs on August 21st, between 7:00pm-9:30pm, at the Bowery Poetry Club, 308 Bowery, (Between Houston and Bleecker). For more info please call 212-614-0505 or bowerypoetry.com.

Her voice has been compared to a mix of Ella Fitzgerald and Norah Jones. Her songwriting skills and voice compels audiences from coast to coast along with her beauty.

Born and raised in Agoura Hils, CA Jennifer began singing and performing at a very young age. She attended Berklee College of Music where she shared a stage with Herbie Hancock, Gloria Estefan, Steve Gabb, Abe Laboriel, and Michel Camilo. Hirsch’s new EP entitled “Sweet Words” is a combination of sweet tunes and true meaning.

Hosting between 20 and 30 shows a week the Bowery Poetry Club (BPC) is proud of our place in the lineage of populist art: the Yiddish theater, burlesque, vaudeville, beat poetry, jazz, and punk that gave the Bowery its name.
