The release of his new album wil be on June 23, 2009. His new track "I Love It (Papi-Aye-Aye-Aye)" is the first track of this album and is very tuneful, sexy and sounds if he was never been away. Vocals are beautiful, and contains nice analog synth sounds. The album consist of eleven other tracks. I can't wait to hear the rest of this album. | This debut CD of Nigerian Born Douye consist of eleven smoothfull, sensual jazzy soul tracks. The voice of Douye is very sensual comparable with Sade or Anita Baker. This album was released in 2008. Fly away is a lowtempo jazzy soul track with nice chords. 'On For You' is A 'Sade' type of song, mellow, smooth and good. If you like jazzy guitar licks then 'In Love With You' is a song for you. Smooth sound and the sensual voice of Douye does the rest. The title track of the CD 'Journey' is a real jazz tune. A little more uptempo as previous tracks is 'Still Hurting' sounds good but is not one of the best tracks on this CD. Mark Soulandfunkmusic, com |

On this album he collaborate with less and well known artists. When I opened the envelope and read the back cover information I knew that this album would be great. The reason is Barry J. Eastmond, he produced mainly this album |

The radio sampler of Onitsha's album Church Girl is promising. The track 'He Is' is a very funky song. It starts with a funky bass followed by the vocals of Onitsha. You can't sit still. She sings about the lord. A short bio of Onitsha. Onitsha La’Quis Shaw born in Beverly Hills, California, on July 16, 1980.
