The first track 'United We Stand' is a mid-tempo song with 'Gospel' influences. An abosulute killer track is 'Fallin' Apart' a great combination of Alicia's vocals, smooth drums sound and guitar licks. The same is true for 'I Really Really Want you Now' the third track on this album. A more up-tempo track with fabulous eighties funky guitar work is 'Journey'. The second part of this tune has even more funkier guitar licks. 'Stay' is one of the down-tempo tracks and shortest tracks on this album. The piano play under Alicia's vocals generate a mood of 'Everybody Loves the Sunshine' by Roy Ayers. 'Get ready for the weekend, Everybody' is an up-tempo smooth sing-a-along tune. It's about going out during the weekend to party. Great bass work on the next track 'Higher'. The great synth effects with the outstanding bass creates a typical eighties sound and is very enjoyable. 'Fancy Dancer' another mid-tempo tune with eighties influences like that great synth solo. The last track on this great album is 'Peace Of Mind'. The songs to look out for are: 'Fallin' Apart', 'Journey', 'Weekend', 'Higher', and 'Fancy Dancer'.
