The American soul singer Freddie Lee released his first album  about 3 years ago. Freddie Lee is back with a taste of smooth summer soul with his new single 'Searching'. 'Searching' goes on sale on ITunes, Amazon and Nokia Music on  May 1st 2011.  The single is taken from the forthcoming album 'My Soul Intentions' and which is earmarked for release in October 2011. Once again the single and album have been produced by Tony Bean and Colin Bassett of 5am Productions known best for their work with Tyrese, Kelly Rowland, Justin Timberlake and UK Soul Star Lemar.

He become an artist of public note through his independent release of the Soul and Gospel album Beyond Comprehension which garnered mass radio airplay, magazine reviews and interviews in 2009-2010.

Recently in 2011 he made his British prime time acting debut as "DJ Freddie Murphy" on Channel 4's T4 Stars & Strikes and as a character in BBC2's Grumpy Guides in 2011. He is now the soulful voice of the forthcoming Bewiser Car Insurance TV advertising campaign.
