One of the albums on my want list, for many years, was Gary Taylor's debut album from 1983 originally pressed on vinyl in the a&m records factory. But finally it's on CD. This CD contains as bonus the track 'On the line' in a long version. The other nine tracks are also on the vinyl version. Gary produced his debut album by himself with the help of Craig Ragland. Beside writing and producing Gary played the Fender Rhodes, Acoustic Piano, Synthesizers and does the Lead Vocals.

This boogie album is an absolute killer with tracks like 'Just What I Have In Mind', wow what synth sound. The funk tracks are 'Don't Fight It', 'Down For The Count'. A great down-tempo love song is 'Without you in my life', just like 'This Time' and 'Special'. The remaining tracks are 'On The Line', 'Force Of Habit' and my absolute favorite 'Looking Back'.
