A nice early 80s set from The Reddings – the group featuring two sons of Otis Redding and a sweet set of funk steeped R&B! Dexter Redding plays bass, and there's a whole lot of bass in the mix, bringing some funk into the groove very nicely – with some post disco pop soul melodic numbers, that work very well, too. The Reddings bring out a mix of tighter, leaner numbers with pop funk style with a couple of sweet, string accented slow jams on Class and it's solid stuff!
