Twin brothers Kendall and Kelvis Duffie also known as Kloud 9 presents a new compilation album 'The Vibe Room'. After having had two Kloud 9 albums on Expansion records they started this project. The songs for this album have been recorded in their Nashville based state of the art recording studio (also called The Vibe Room).

The CD features familiar names such as Maysa (lead singer for UK super band Incognito).

Kendall and Kelvis wrote and produced almost all of the tracks on this CD.

Track number 2 'Everything you need' by 2~Way, one of my favourites, is a tune that really puts you in the right mood. A track that you will play over & over again. The bass has that little moog touch and the vocals are, to say the least, sexy.
The next track 'Didn't think' by the twin brothers Kendall and Kelvis, 'Kloud 9' themselves, has a happy melody with a very nice synth. A flugel horn solo on Men-Nefer 'Jonesin' makes it an old fashioned track. 'Treasure' is a jazzy song with Donald Hayes on Sax.
Another favourite track of mine is track six by Tim Dillinger. The song 'Ooh Baby I' starts with a very funky guitar riff which stays to the end, finished off nicely by the wah wah and a nice bridge. The instrumental 'I can' by Althea Rene could be a Najee song...no further comment! The other tune by 2~Way, 'Get Away' has the same ingredients as track number two, deep bass and sexy voices. More of an uptempo song with nice synths is 'You got me'. Instrumental 'Chill Funk' starts with a nice synth followed by an uptempo beat in combination with jazzy sounds. I don't exactly know what kind of style this is!

My favourite tunes are 'Everything you need', 'Get Away' by 2~Way and the instrumental 'I can' by Althea Rene and the funky 'Ooh Baby I' by Tim Dillinger. It's a very nice CD, well produced with a range of different styles.
