Today, 32 years ago in 1978, the album Come Get It by Rick James debuted on the billboard Top R&B Albums Chart. It reached #3 and was on the chart for a total of 47 weeks. Before Prince..this was the guy..real soulful...He saved Motown and kept the fire goin..at least til Jacko got rollin..I graduated HS and partied on this one...Hollywood was the anthemn... Mary jane the ultimate high..whooo!
